316 Children's Ministry
Welcome to the children's ministry of 316 Church. At our church children are top priority and we are excited to share the love of Jesus with each and every one of them. We want you to know who we are, what we're up to, and how you can be a part of this vital and exciting ministry.
Our children's ministry is specifically designed for kids from birth through fifth grade. Each week, the children are presented with a Biblical message that is age appropriate and taught in an exciting, fun-filled and interactive manner. Our goal is to help the children discover the impact of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Little Sparks is what we call our birth up to 24 months old department. Our goal in the Little Sparks is to provide a clean, safe and God-centered environment where the little ones can play and learn.
Short Circuits are the children who are 2 - 4 years old. The goal of Short Circuits is to provide a safe and loving environment where children find the love of God, explore His Word through lesson and memory, build relationships with His family and discover their own God given uniqueness.
High Voltage is the grade school ministry of 316 Church for kids K-5 through fifth grade. It is designed to help children learn about and develop a personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Think energy...electricity...all coming together to help connect kids to God in a real and current way! Ministry to children is powered by caring adults who love kids and want to help them grow into the wonderful people God created them to be. We are committed to the Mission and Vision of 316 Church and we see children as much a part of that as every teenager and adult in our community. Children are not the church of tomorrow, but a big part of our church today!

Opportunities for Adults
One of the best ways to get involved and grow in 316 Church is to get involved with Children´s Ministry. There are many benefits to becoming a volunteer leader: You meet new people, and develop a team spirit with other leaders. You learn as you teach. The experience of leading others creates an opportunity to learn. You develop your gifts and leadership abilities. You benefit from the encouragement, training, and support of the Children´s Ministry staff and team. You experience ministry, and have a meaningful impact on the lives of children. You grow in your relationship with Jesus and come to know Him more by serving. You get to connect children to God through faith, hope, and love.
If you´d like to volunteer, or inquire about volunteering, contact our director of children's ministries, Rena Laing, at rena1@tmo.blackberry.net. There are many levels and areas of involvement possible, depending on your background, experience, and interests. Come join our team and make a positive and eternal difference in the life of children!
