40 Days in the Word

Together with Rick Warren and Saddleback Church we've experienced 40 days of Purpose, Love and Community. Now come along with Rick on a journey of 40 Days in the Word, a journey of eternal significance as we learn how to be not only a "hearer" of the Word, but also a "doer" of God's Word.

40 Days in the Word is a church wide weekly study of six principles of the Word of God through the sermons on Sunday morning and the small group studies during the week. Together with Rick, the Saddleback Team and great pastors from across the country our church will explore the authenticity, reliability, power, comfort, interpretation and doing of God's Word. This eight week journey, led by Rick Warren, will encourage spiritual growth in every member of our church. It's a great way to begin the new year as a family. And it's a great time to invite your friends, neighbors, and co-workers into a practical study that will benefit them right away.

Here's the plan:

1. Commit to attending 8 consecutive Sunday worship services from January 29th - March 18th

2. Commit to attending 6 consecutive mid-week small group sessions beginning the week of January 29.

3. Invite your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to Sunday services and small group sessions.

4. Purchase an individual workbook and follow the lessons each week.
