Small Group Bible Study

Would you benefit from a place where you are encouraged in life, where you can find answers to your spiritual questions, a place where you can be used by God to meet the needs of others, and where your needs are met?   If your answer is yes then the place for you is in a 316 Small Group.  Each of our adult small groups consist of six to twelve people that meet weekly for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer. They meet on various days of the week in host homes around the area and each weekly small group usually goes from 1 1/2 to two hours.  There's bound to be a small group close to where you live.  Here's a list of our current small groups...

What goes on at a group meeting?  Though each group differs in how they do things, we usually follow a simple outline that consists of Welcome/Worship/Word/Witness.  The 'welcome' time is a time for breaking the ice and getting caught up with one another.  The 'worship' time is designated for prayer.  The 'word' is the specific study of the Bible,  and the time of 'witness' is when the group brainstorms, plans, and strategizes opportunities of outreach and service projects to others outside the group.  All this promotes our mission to Love God, Love Others, and Serve the World.

Is chilcare provided for small groups?  Presently, some of our small groups provide childcare and some do not.  The best way to know is to call one of the facilitators or hosts.  Our childcare providers are a minimum of 12 years old and are approved by the small group members.  The childcare provider does not have to be a part of 316 Church but must be known by at least one of the group members before being allowed to provide care.
