Outreach
We believe the greatest call that we have as believers in Jesus Christ is to share the great news of salvation with others (Matthew 28:19-20). We believe that the best way to do that is by loving God and loving people by meeting their needs and building relationships with them. We encourage individuals and small groups to reach out to those who don't know the joy of salvation through Christ.
We also provide many strategic outreach opportunities throughout the year called local missions projects that create a place for you to serve people and build relationships with them. Make sure that you check back often to find out when and where the next Local Mission Project will be held.
Mission Organization Partnerships: We have chosen to partner and promote a few organizations within the body of Christ at 316 and make information about these organizations and the opportunity to support them here on this web space. Strategic Local Partnerships:
Cupboards for Christ - We are pleased to be able to partner with other churches in the Chesapeake area in providing food for the needy. Here is a list of items you can donate to our food box on Sundays: Canned fruit, jell-o/pudding Boxes, bag of dried beans, stuffing mix, beef stew, hamburger helper, canned vegetables, spaghetti noodles, spaghetti sauce, ramon noodles, boxed cereal, boxed oatmeal, bag of rice, small cornbread mix, pancake mix, large syrup, peanut butter, jelly, pork & beans, canned chicken/tuna, ravioli/spaghettie o's.

Global Missions: We also encourage individuals and small groups to participate in missions globally. Our plan is to take missions teams to other places in the U.S. and around the world. We will keep you updated when these opportunities become available.
